We had a great pleasure to host a group of eminent guests, members of the Warsaw Circle of the Karol Szymanowski Music Society, who organised their General Meeting in the premises of the Polish Composers’ Union on 9th November 2023.
Tomasz Baranowski, a musicologist from the Institute of Musicology of the Warsaw University, was again elected the Circle’s President. Two members of our team, Mieczysław Kominek, President of the Polish Composers’ Union, and Izabela Zymer, vice-director of the Library, expressed their access and help to future projects of the Warsaw Circle.
The idea of seminars, duscussion and chamber concerts at the Old Town Square may become true, this need however some efforts and common work. Will we manage? Let us hope. (Iz.)
