As part of the project ‘Renewable Music. V4 Composers for Sustainability’ at the Warsaw headquarters of the Polish Composers' Union on the 2nd of September, 2023 at 11.00, lectures on the relationship between music and ecology will be open to the public.
We will have the opportunity to listen to the following speeches in English:
Music, sound, nature by Prof. dr hab. Sławomira Żerańska-Kominek,
Art, cognition, nature - the festival as an expression of the cognitive imperative and the ethos of searching for the truth by the director of the Warsaw Autumn Festival, Jerzy Kornowicz, and
Objectophones: the use of everyday objects as instruments by the composer Wojciech Błażejczyk.
