There are people who simply cannot be replaced.

Today we bid farewell to two such people.

Just as nature gradually fills empty spaces, communities, too, learn to live with loss. In time, wounds heal and absences become part of memory. Yet things are never quite the same.

We say goodbye to Ewa Prus, our long-time collaborator from Polish Radio, who coordinated many of our joint projects connected with the Warsaw Autumn Festival, as well as numerous other festivals and concerts.

We also bid farewell to Andrzej Sasin, one of the masters—and among the very greatest masters—of music recording direction. His work embraced the most demanding and constantly surprising field of contemporary music. Many outstanding recordings preserved in our archive bear his name.

Their contribution will remain part of our history and our archive. We will remember them with gratitude.

We will not forget.

Let us remember.
