TERMS OF USE
of the Database NEW POLISH MUSIC.
- The database of information on contemporary Polish composers maintained by the Research library of the Polish Comnposers' union as part of the Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC is available to anyone interested in music, musicology and musical life in Poland.
- The database of information on contemporary Polish composers maintained by the Research library of the Polish Comnposers' union as part of the Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC is an original database created by musicologists and IT specialists from the Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC and is a work within the meaning of copyright law. Therefore, its use should be in accordance with the current regulations on copyright and related rights.
- Users of the portal have the right to browse the resources in accordance with the rules of permitted personal use described in copyright law, and at the same time are obliged to respect this right.
- Mass downloading of content from the portal without the consent of the database administrator is not permitted.
- The database resources can be viewed in two ways:
a. without creating an account, or
b. by creating a user account.
- Creating a user account entitles you to access more data and requires you to provide personal data (first name, surname, e-mail address and, optionally – additional data confirming your identity or facilitating contact, such as academic degree/title, name of school or university, place of work/affiliation, telephone number), as well as justification for requesting access to the full database.

PROCESSING AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (Official Journal of the European Union L 2016, No. 119, hereinafter referred to as the GDPR), the administrator of the Database of Information on Contemporary Polish Composers of the Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC, hereinafter referred to as the POLMIC database, informs that:
a) the controller of the personal data of users of the POLMIC database is the Polish Composers' Union, with its registered office in Warsaw, Rynek Starego Miasta 27 (postcode: 00-272), tel. 22 831 16 34;
b) contact regarding personal data protection is possible at the following email address: zkp@zkp.org.pl;
c) the User's personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of creating and maintaining access to the POLMIC database, including the necessary ongoing contact in connection with the creation and maintenance of access, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR;
d) the User's personal data may be made available to other entities only in the following cases:
- entities providing services to the controller related to the construction and operation of databases – in particular IT services, as well as
- entities authorised to obtain personal data on the basis of legal provisions (including public administration bodies);
e) the User has the right to request the controller to access, rectify, delete or restrict the processing of personal data in the cases specified in the provisions of the GDPR;
f) the User's personal data will be processed throughout the entire period of creation and maintenance of access to the POLMIC database, and after its completion, it may be stored for the purpose of mandatory archiving of documentation for the period specified in separate regulations;
g) The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office;
h) The provision of personal data by the User is a contractual requirement, however, in the event of refusal to provide data, access to the database cannot be granted and maintained.
